The enchanting animated Story Store series offers a world of magic and wonder to children aged 5 and up. The lovable canine proprietor, George, runs the store with the help of his little hedgehog friend, Pip, and together they provide the town with such magical products as flying umbrellas, vanishing cream, and shrinking powder. In A QUIET DAY, the kindly elephant Granny Clump orders a tap dancer from the store, and George promises to deliver it that evening. He promptly falls asleep, however, and it falls to Pip to make the delivery. The mischievous little tap causes all manner of problems before reaching Granny Clump's house, and Pip returns home exhausted.
