This double bill of children's favorites pairs Thomas the Tank Engine with Bob the Builder in a winning combination. First, a rivalry exists on the Island of Sodor between the two kinds of engines that are necessary to run Sir Topham Hatt's railway, since both the steamies and diesels each think they are more useful than the other. In each of these collected episodes, the engines learn to get over their differences and work together. Henry comes across a wishing tree, Thomas comes to the rescue, and Percy comes to a decision about when to blow his whistle. Then, in BOB SAVES THE DAY, helpful Bob does just that in a collection of charming episodes. He helps a family of porcupines across the road, sniffs out a new nose for Spud, and stops Roley from flattening the town when he starts rolling in his sleep!
