Adapted from the classic children`s story by Carlo Collodi, here, Pinocchio (Gabriel Thomson) decides to skip school with his friend Lampwick (Ben Ridgeway) so they can attend a magic carnival run by Madame Flambeau (Udo Kier), who tricks Pinocchio into buying a magic potion that purports to cure any illness.
