In fact, fighting is the curriculum as The Flea, Buena Girl, and Rikochet, along with a host of other unusual characters, train to be professional wrestlers. This animated series was the first television program made using Flash animation, a process created for use in cyberspace. The title episode of this volume has The Flea relegated to wrestling in the bad guys' classroom to pay for his actions against Snow Pea. Charlie, the heroic, roguish mutt of All Dogs Go To Heaven, is growing impatient with the predictability of Dog Heaven, and decides he'd rather be back amongst the living. He gets his wish when the nefarious Carface sends him and his buddy Itchy back to Earth to retrieve Gabriel's horn--which Carface tried to steal.
While in San Francisco, the dogs become engaged in numerous misadventures, and Charlie falls head over paws for Sasha, a lovely Irish setter. A bear raised in a human environment, Beary (Haley Joel Osment), is a confused adolescent, despite his loving home. His sanctuary is in a disbanded musical act, the Country Bears, to whom he has a strong connection and is fanatical about. So it is no surprise when Beary runs away to find his real family that he winds up at Country Bear Hall, the landmark site of so many of those memorable Country Bear gigs, now little more than dust and kindling and just days from being demolished by greedy banker Reed Thimple (Christopher Walken). The few Bears who remain prepare to move away from their hall and their Kentucky bluegrass. That is, until Beary arrives, convincing them to hop in the old Hiber Nation tour bus and track down the other band members for a reunion concert in hopes of saving the historic venue. This search for the members of the influential group proves difficult with the Bears all in varying states of desperation and a pair of bumbling cops (Daryl Mitchell and Diedrich Bader) tracking them. A post-Charles Schulz Christmas special based on his timeless Peanuts characters, I WANT A DOG FOR CHRISTMAS, CHARLIE BROWN shifts the focus to Lucy and Linus' younger brother Rerun. Ignored by his blanket-toting brother and tormented by his uber-bossy sister, Rerun longs for a canine companion to brighten his troubles. But things look bleak for the lonesome tot when his mother refuses to get him a dog for Christmas and Charlie Brown declines to sell Snoopy--until he learns that Snoopy's brother Spike will be coming for a Christmas visit! Then it's time for some holiday mayhem as the rambunctious Spike brews up some mischief and it's up to the unfortunate Rerun to straighten out the mess.
